Trupti combines art and chemistry addressing our current challenges like sustainable energy and transformation to circular economy. She is a Chemist and self-trained art maker and works in Berlin.
My Story
My passion for art started when I saw first time the painting of Joseph Write of Derby (1771) " The Alchemist in search of philosopher's stone" in which he captures the moment of the discovery of Phosphorus in 1669 by the German Alchemist Hennig Brand. He portrays an Alchemist bowing down to his work.
An Alchemist overwhelmed by the results of his experiment. Derby named a simple Alchemist's work as Philosopher's Stone.
Alchemy inspried the artist and amplified the art.
ArtChemist
My works present a struggle between light and matter, The relentless passage of light collides with matter and solidifies. Photons are clusters of particles containing energy. An interaction of photons tracelling from an art to the neurons transfer the energy to the viewer.
An Art Maker
My works are created digitally and then brought onto the surface of an acrylic glass, a process in which optical energy falls on matter and becomes tangible. The material - transparent polymeric colourless material struggles between light and matter. Material melts, dissolves and we see resurgence of transparent coloured polymeric material. Matter dissloves in light and gives transparency. We see colour. A phase of Conjuctio? Matter's victory over light. The bond between light and matter gives colour. And the next progression into transition phase evolves to solutio: Light dissolves matter. The colour dissolved in the polymeric material gives a transparency. Intellect dissolves in emotion gives transparency.
